Class Description
This one-day Commercial Audition workshop is designed to help you achieve a successful commercial audition in a fun and informative environment. You will learn how to prepare for both self-tape and in person auditions, how to break down copy, implement acting tools for the audition, and what you need to do during your callback session. You will participate in an on-camera mock audition, a callback role-play, and will watch footage of your work. The morning will include discussion of the business of auditioning for commercials, understanding commercial breakdowns, how to prepare before the audition, and an overview of improv and tools to apply to your commercial auditions. The afternoon will include filming of mock auditions, discussion of the first round, and mock callback sessions.
Cancellation Policy
With a cancellation made more than 7 days in advance of the class start date, a 100% reimbursement will be provided. Cancellations made within a week of the class start date will incur a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given on the day of, or beyond the class start date. In the case of unavoidable circumstances, one class in a round may be made-up in the following round of the same class, provided that at least 24 hours' notice is given to the instructor. This exception does not apply to Casting Director Workshops. Please arrive on time for your class. Out of respect for other class members, doors will be locked, and no one will be admitted once the first scene has started.
