Friday Coaching/Sunday with Casting
Class Description
Day One: Actors will work in collaboration with Jessie to fine-tune their scenes. Day Two: Actors will present their scenes to Megan & Rebecca and receive supportive feedback. Time-permitting, we will have a Q & A at the end of the session. Megan Bayliss and Rebecca Davidson of Vibecheck casting have contributed to critically acclaimed projects such as "The Last of US," "Yellowjackets," "Maid," and "Black Mirror." Rebecca Davidson: With a decade of acting training from renowned New York studios Michael Howard and T. Schreiber—along with specialized study in Meisner technique at Ward Acting Studios and improv at Upright Citizens Brigade—Rebecca brings a deep understanding of performance to her casting work. A proud queer artist, she champions authentic representation and underrepresented voices with care and intention. In the room, she brings clear vision, collaborative spirit, and genuine passion for storytelling—qualities that have earned the lasting trust of directors, producers, and actors alike. Megan Bayliss: With over a decade of experience in Vancouver's top casting rooms, Megan has earned a strong reputation within the film and television community. A proud alumna of Capilano University’s Musical Theatre program, her advanced training in acting, voice, and dance gives her a deep understanding of the actor’s journey—an insight that continues to shape her work today. Actors will be assigned a scene by Megan & Rebecca. Ages 16+
Cancellation Policy
With a cancellation made more than 7 days in advance of the class start date, a 100% reimbursement will be provided. Cancellations made within a week of the class start date will incur a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given on the day of, or beyond the class start date. In the case of unavoidable circumstances, one class in a round may be made-up in the following round of the same class, provided that at least 24 hours' notice is given to the instructor. This exception does not apply to Casting Director Workshops. Please arrive on time for your class. Out of respect for other class members, doors will be locked, and no one will be admitted once the first scene has started.
